feathered ... 8/365

feathered
/ˈfɛðərd/, adjective
clothed, covered, or fitted with (or as with) feathers or wings
... the rainbow of colors was scarcely visible ... it was only with the camera that we were able to see the multitudes of color upon this bird ... don't ask ... i have no idea what type of bird this is ... beautiful, though ... huh?

The iridescence indicates Male (WE ARE THE PRETTY ONES), the beak indicates Bird Of Prey, but the lack of prominent tail indicates a scrub bird, Let us know when you find out it is an absolute treat.

We have that bird in our jungle at our zoo, they are just roaming free so I have tons of pics, but I too don't know what kind of bird it is. I am always fascinated by the colors though!
